• Surface Finishes: Pre-painted white primer, PVC film, melamine veneer, or natural wood veneer; colors and textures can be customized.

This enhances the decorative appeal without compromising the lightweight structure. These lightweight interior doors feature a smooth surface without minimalist lines and an internal honeycomb paper or wood strip frame support. They are designed for low cost and easy installation, suitable for low-noise areas such as bedrooms and studies, but not for high-humidity areas like bathrooms or other environments requiring sound insulation.

Honeycomb paper core

Made of recyclable corrugated paper shaped into hexagonal honeycomb grids. This core makes hollow core flush interior doors extremely lightweight, cutting logistics and installation costs largely. The drawbacks are weak sound insulation, poor moisture resistance and low screw-holding power, so it is not suggested for damp areas or high-end houses.

Tubular particle board core

Also called bridge hole board core, integrally extruded particle board with continuous vertical tubular cavities without splicing gaps. As the mainstream filling for household hollow core flush interior doors, it outperforms honeycomb paper core in sound insulation, anti-deformation and moderate moisture stability. Uniform internal support prevents door panel denting after long-term use, and it is widely applied in residential rooms and hotel guest room doors.

MDF strips core

Constructed by interlocking cut solid MDF strips into square hollow grids. Among the three fillings, it has the strongest screw-holding force and impact resistance. This heavy-duty core fits high-traffic hollow core flush interior doors in schools, hospitals and public buildings equipped with heavy locks and hardware. Note that MDF absorbs water easily and swells, so avoid using it in bathrooms and humid spaces.
